Your inner journey begins...
Close your eyes, and imagine that you are standing in front of a medieval looking oak door. See every detail. Reach out, and touch the rough surface with your hands. The door's handle is a large iron ring; lift it, and feel how heavy it is in your hand. Turn it slowly. It takes effort to turn it, since it hasn't been used often. You push hard against the door, and it opens with a loud squeaking sound...
Ahead of you is a thick grey mist. You step forward, and close the door behind you. The mist surrounds you, and it is difficult to see through it. While you take a few steps forward the mist begins to lift. You're on a mountain path, which winds its way down through a forest of pine trees. The sun is shining, but there's a cold wind. Looking down you see that the ground is still partly frozen. The cold doesn't bother you, the wind is refreshing and invigorating.
Slowly you walk down the mountain path. You're hearing the sound of the wind in the trees. While first you saw only pine trees around you, now you see oaks, and beeches... On their branches you can see very tiny bright green new leaves... The path is becoming rougher and more difficult to find, and you have to make your way through bushes and low-hanging branches of the trees.
Suddenly you realise that it is getting darker. You stop and look around you, and you see the setting sun coloring the western sky crimson and gold. Then it is dark. For a moment you stay where you are, wondering what to do. Then, through the trees, you see a light glimmering in the distance, and you decide to head towards it.
With difficulty you make your way through the dark forest. You have to hold your hands in front of your face to protect your eyes from low-hanging branches, and every now and then you stumble when the root of a tree sticks out. When you get closer you see that the light comes from within a large iron cauldron, which is in the middle of a round open space in the forest. On either side of the cauldron you see someone standing. You watch from behind a tree...
